DLRC’s proprietary website and inventory management platform, Showcase, launched two years ago and has since earned multiple honors, including “Best Numismatic Website” from the Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG). The firm continues to enhance the platform’s features and expand its capabilities.
“We’ve been looking to expand our offerings of currency for quite some time, and this collection really spurred us into focusing on the website development so that we can better highlight our offerings,” said John Brush, president of DLRC. “While currency isn’t our main focus, we understand that it’s a part of the numismatic collecting heritage and we’re excited to offer our expertise to an even wider audience.”
“With this latest update to our software, we’re also excited to begin licensing it to other dealers looking for a comprehensive solution for managing their business and online presence – and now, that includes working with currency dealers as well,” Vice President Jason Smith added.
With its renewed focus on currency, DLRC is actively seeking consignments of additional paper money collections and plans to extend its signature “No Buyer’s Fees” model to currency offerings. Collectors interested in consigning individual notes, coins, or entire collections to DLRC’s weekly Thursday Red Carpet Rarities or Sunday Auctions – or in using the firm’s full suite of numismatic services – can contact the team by email at [email protected] or by phone at 800-776-0560.
